After cards have been dealt, a betting round takes place. Each player is required to show their cards and match the previous bet. If a player can not match the previous bet, they are said to fold. They also can bluff by making a bet that they have the best hand. The player who bets the least will lose. The other players then must match the bet or fold.
If a player’s hand matches the bet, he is able to raise the amount of the bet. If the bet is not enough, he can also go all-in. This is when he puts all his chips into the pot.
In all poker games, there is a betting round. After the betting round, a showdown occurs. The best hand is the one that contains the lowest number of cards. If more than one player has the same hand, the tie is broken by the highest unmatched cards.
